Leila Kuelper was born and raised in the Lake Tahoe Basin. She started her career in real estate in 2014, and quickly saw how staging could transform a listing, helping homes sell quicker and at a higher price. When she couldn't find a staging company in the area that matched what her listings needed, she started buying furniture and staging them herself. By 2018, that instinct had grown into a business of its own.

In just a few years, Leila built Staging the Sierras into one of the top home staging and interior design companies in the region, serving South Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, Truckee, Reno, Carson City, and surrounding areas in the Tahoe Basin.

We're also the only staging company in the Tahoe Basin that owns our entire inventory of furniture, decor, and delivery trucks, all stored locally in South Lake Tahoe. That means no waiting on rental trucks, movers, or outside vendors. When you're ready to stage, so are we.

Our real estate background shapes how we work. We know the angles a listing photographer will shoot, and we stage with those shots in mind, arranging every room to photograph beautifully and feel as spacious as possible.
